You dont see this happen too often...especially when someone like FedEx is the form of his life...

And you definitely dont expect this to happen 2 weeks later...Canas shows FedEx the door, again, this time spoiling a potential hat-trick chance

And this paragraph is definitely very bad news for FedEx fans as he makes his bid to equal Rod Laver's 1969 feat in less than 2 months time from now

Now for the scary part: he's also a much better player on clay than he is on
hard courts. Winning in Paris will be a serious challenge.


For the record, Canas' best performance in a Grand Slam event has been making the Quarter finals at Roland Garros, twice, in 2002 and 2005, when he lost to Alberta Costa (who went on to win) and Puerta (who lost in the final to Nadal) respectively. He has won 7 titles, 4 of which have been on clay. In comparison, FedEx has won just 5 tournaments, out of a total of 41, on clay.
