Surely there are better jobs than sitting and staring at a monitor 50 hours a week.

Wonder when the majority of today's youth will wake up to this reality. Heck, I am still part of this majority

Your premise seems to be that people actually dont want to do something that they dont want to do. I dont think thats always true.

eV,
people are doing what they want to do! so the frustration. how many do what they enjoy and have real passion for? working for someone itself is a frustrating to think..we work for loooooong hours and some T-D-H makes big money..!and then we stare at the stupid comp for longer hours.

DD,
nice blog :)

I think 50 hr/week in front of monitor is a nice way to spend time.

You wont realize how much value that has, until you spend 70 hrs/week!
phew!
