Goodbye

Farewell to one of the most charismatic leaders of our times...
Rediff says he was the brain behind the "India shining" campaign...though it was not totally true, it sure was one helluva catchphrase!
The country sure will miss his presence irrespective of his political preferences...I have no more words to add...

Why do good people always have such terrible endings? Life sure is unfair...

Would you care to explain a non-terrible ending for \\\"good people\\\"?

Nallavan yaar ada kaettavan yaar, kadaisiyil avane mudivu seyvaan!

Pramod Mahajan was a sub editor 15 yrs back in a RSS paper. How became he amazed a wealth of 2000 crore?
His brother was appointed by Reliance for a monthly salary of 60,000 which was paid only to his wife. How come such a useless chap employed by Reliance which takes only cream.
Didnt Mahajan destroy BSNL to make Reliance a monopoly
This is a God's reply what he did to this country.

This is not about whether he was a corrupt person or not. Nothing can be as futile as killing. For God's sake what did his brother achieve by pumping bullets into his body?? Nothing absolutely nothing can be achieved by as brainless an act as killing. Whether it is Mahajan or ManiappanKutty or Suryanaraya.. The world is debating about the act of "cloning" calling it "playing God".. what about murder then?? Why do people have to resort to violence and murder to resolve (i use this for lack of a better word) issues?

Yes. he was a charismatic man...in making money. He was no leader by any long shot. He had the gift of the gab and rose in the party only because of that. He nearly destroyed BSNL and amassed great wealth in the process. His treatment of his siblings was bad which led to his death. His murder was despicable but if it was an ordinary man who was shot at, would he get the kind of medical attention that Mahajan got?
It is no point grieving over these scums unless you benefit from them. And by scums I mean politicians of any party.

Instead of talking about a dead person. I rather keep quiet. But still, his idea of 'India Shining' is something i disagree. And many of his other political actions. As 'ev' says one shud define ' good people '...
